If you're the perennial tech-nut who goes to Sim Lim Square on a weekly basis (or like me, you do a daily pilgrimage), you must be wondering what has been going on with the place in the weeks leading up to Christmas.

You see fishy posters along Rochor Canal Road even though The Elections are nowhere near.

There's a car parked outside Sim Lim Square. No palm imprints, and the MediaCorp Radio Subaru Impreza WRX Challenge is over.

Your stairway to geekdom got a new coat.

An imposing Christmas tree appears out of no where.

You strafe left and see people queuing up!

Why am I waiting?

The doors are plastered with posters. A rare sight.

Stretching from 14th to 23rd of December, Get IT @ Sim Lim Square is an IT fair concept done right within Singapore's largest Consumer Electronic playground. Here's what the organisers of the event have in mind:

"Get IT @ Sim Lim Square is not just another IT fair. At this exciting event, not only do we aim to offer the best prices for the best deals, we want to reinforce our position as a prominent household name for technology equipment and electronics, to local as well as international shoppers."

For those who did not get their good deals during the period, shame on you! Our VR-Zone community turned up too for a another reason. It was time to ride on the fun and get on to some gungho action. Next page please!
