Final Showdown

The final showdown of the Asia Pacific: ASUS Overclocking Championship 2007 Day 2: Inter Country Battle! The rules for second day was different from first day, to see the full details on game-play, just check out the official thread. For day 1 coverage, check here.

A Round of Liquid Nitrogen together now

After the competition runs were ended, it was time to relax and enjoy some Liquid Nitrogen overclocking together. The whole group contributed their hardware and hands to the setup. Team Taiwan's Intel QX6850, coupled with Team Australia's winning ASUS Blitz Extreme, with Kingston Hyper-X DDR3 Memory, FSP Epilson 600w Power Supply, VR-Zone's ASUS EN8800 Ultra.

The crowd enjoying the cool Nitrogen breeze:

The team had about half an hour of overclocking just before prize ceremony, but it was some sweet and short benching, with the QX6850 at 4750MHz and 8800 Ultra at 910MHz Core, 1224 MHz Memory, 19,000+ 3d Mark 06 was acquired on single card.

According to them, the highest FSB they tried with the Q6700 on the Blitz Extreme was 500MHz, and they were running a safe 820MHz/1000MHz on their EN8800 GTS 320MB. Impressive 15,000+ points on 3D Mark 06 was achieved by a few teams with the GTS, including Team Australia and Team China.
