Vrzone.com Article: Battlefield Funan Lanparty 2006
Battlefield Funan Lanparty 2006 Right after two days of experiencing nVIDIA graphics at the NVIDIA Reality Tour (link), the gamers were getting into the mood for more. Pretty graphics? An opportunity for a PC showcase? Getting together for a good fragout? The gamers wanted all that and more, not for a transient moment, but for a full blown 3D2N LANParty at Singapore's Funan Digital Life Mall.
In the heart of the city, the usual peace of the mall was disrupted by the throbbing pulse of the gamers' enthusiasm. Everyone was down for a good time, to play more games than they ever could, and to consume more caffeine in 72 hours than they normally would in 72 days.
Setting Up.. Showered by the refreshing lime green of NVIDIA's presence, many early birds were around to get their systems up and running. High Definition Gaming sure was popular. You could see gamers who grew tired of their 17 inch monitors jumping into the NVIDIA booth to try some 2560 X 1600 racing on Dell's 3007WFP.
