Just press a bit on your hs copper or alu plate and pull the middle placed triangle thing. It's very easy. Anyway my ram back, not old ram. I collected it sat. Transcend RMA take time DEC4 2007 to Jan 12 2008. 1 month and 1 week for 1 gig single ram.

Engineering, design, QA, RND, integrators are working hard including u. But Customer Service may need to improve which is one of most important things in memories market areas. This is not nvidia and ati or intel and amd.
I think that you mis-understood what I was saying. I can't help your RMA. We are a system builder that purchases memory directly from transcend. I don't work for Transcend. In the position that I am in, the most that I can help with is see if there is a shortage on this memory. Being that we are an OEM systems integrator, we have direct relationship with Transcend. I would recommend contacting transcend directly and talking again to the place that you purchased the memory from.

Could they be giving you the run around? I can take a look today and see if there is a problem with availability of this memory in distribution with our transcend rep.

For me personally, this is the first time that I have used transcend in a system build outside of work. At work, we use a great deal of 667 Fully Buffered and 667 REG/ECC DIMMS in our server builds and DDR2-800 NON-ECC/REG in desktops. From what I can tell, these are the first sticks of 1066 in our building from Transcend.

I dont know why. I am still waiting that 1 gig ram RMA and i am still using good ram 1 gig. Did anyone happen before when you send your rams(not value version)? I used alot of brands before and i sent RMA as well. Never met this kind of RMA time for high speed rams.

Quick Question: I have already o/c'd my Q6700 to 3GHz by moving my FSB from 1066 to 1200 for the CPU and set my G.Skill to 800 (it doesn't o/c well). I just am waiting for my transcend 1066 to arrive. I am not planning to aggressively overclock the cpu/memory, but I would like it to be sync'd at 1200FSB. Could you recommend timing and voltage for the transcend? I am trying to overclock without adjusting the voltage to much. I know that might sound strange. For my first o/c, I am taking baby steps.

Thanks

good to know that. Then 1200mhz should not be a problem=)

sad to say the premium found on the DDR2 1066s always come at a price.

as bryanwu mentioned, the 800s arent guaranteed of D9GMHs. You pay a premium for the 1066+s for guaranteed performance i guess.

NOTHING!!!
I think, I am absolutely no noob, and I already had other memory working on this board up to @FSB450 (E6750 works 24/7 with 8x450):
Mushkin 1066 CL 5 only up to about 1000 MHz
A-Data Extreme 1066 up to what ever you want - 1200 & CL3 no problem (the best, yet)
G.Skill 800 GBPK working now up to 1080, really stable at least up to 900 CL 4-4-4-12

Almost the same story could be read in several forums worldwide and noone is able to explain it. What did you do to let the Transcend run so fine? Or did you have another bios? I really have testet all settings at FSB450. DDR 900, DDR 1080, DDR 1125, CL4,5,6 with subtimings of the test, voltage up to 2,5 V, Transaction Booster enabled, disabled etc.
Any idea?
I have to mention, that the Transcend-Ram works with DDR900 CL4-4-4-12 settings @2,1 V. So it is not easy to understand, that it does not work with f. e. DDR 1066 CL5-5-5-15...
