to me, all overpriced. where i live now can be had for $600 sgd (after conversion in AUD)
You are not required to help me in any ways.. n i dont need it either..
I'm just letting the other bro know thats all..
Is the onboard sound any good?
the fan is pertruding.. and it touches the PCI slot... probably got the 8800GT is the reference cooler where it's much thinner.. otherwise, i think it'll be quite hard to fit a card into the PCI slot.
Apparently not. I've just received my set today..
After loading in my 8600GT, the fan will block the PCI slot.. and the ineath is damn tight and cramp..

We've slotted in a 8800GTS for fitting, and it fits. Power wise, we'd need extensive testing to find out.Comment by: avexdevil on 02-May-2008 9:13 pm

Then it just means that your 8600GT isn't using a single slot cooler. There's nothing I can do to help you.

This is very bad then.... no space for any upgrade if you want to go for a isolated sound card....Is the onboard sound any good?

Depends on whether your graphics card takes up 1 or 2 slots. The PCI slot is right beside the PCI-E so a 2-slot graphics card will obviously render the PCI slot useless.Comment by: fatchick on 28-Apr-2008 7:30 pm

The power consumption of the Radeon HD3850 used in the review is similar to the Nvidia 8800GT so you should have no issues with power.Comment by: nannoid on 20-Dec-2007 5:41 pm
Getting my set tomorrow.
