Nvidia GeForce 9M Series Line-Up Unveiled

Nvidia way of branding their mobile GPUs is pretty confusing due to re-branding of older generation GPUs and such. Nevertheless, we tried our best to compile a list of their upcoming GeForce 9M series. GeForce 9800M GTX is the only mobile GPU which is G92 based among the entire GeForce 9M line-up while GeForce 9800M GTS, 9700M GTS are G94 based. GeForce 9700M GT, 9700M GS and 9650M GT are G96 based but the 2 former GPUs are classed under NB9E series while the latter is classed under NB9P series. For the value segement: 9400M GS, 9300M GS and 9200M GS are G98 based. There are 2 mobile GPUs which we have omitted from the list above, are part of the GeForce 9M series but in fact, just a rebrand from the previous generation. Well you can heat up your car in cold morning by running 3dMark06 for that 15 minutes that your batteries last

What about noise? this dual 8800M GTX has only thise tiny fans and virtually no heat sinks..must be horrible experience even with using headphones.

9650M GS is for Acer only card and it is rebranded from NB8E-SE known as GeForce 8800M GS based on G84. There is another for Acer only product like 9300M G which is rebranded from NB8M-GS.

Theres One Card missing...
on the Acer Blue laptop they listed a 9650M GS
