The 7100GS, despite its architectural limitations, managed to perform exceptionally well at what it was meant for: 2D graphics, mild 3D and video acceleration, for the least money spent. It is comforting to know that Inno3D has released yet another reliable product to add to its portfolio. Never at any time during our benchmarks and stress tests had we have to worry about stability or heat and throttling issues.

If you are a HTPC builder looking for a cool running, low power graphics accelerator, or a system integrator looking for a PCIe solution that would fit into office workstations, the Inno3D 7100GS fits the bill. If you live on Mountain Dew in front of continual MMO, RTS anf FPS rampage, the Inno3D 7100GS may not have enough speed to cut it. On the other hand, if you are a gamer on an extreme budget, who overclocks, it should be possible to get most of today's games to run on this graphics accelerator.

At a SRP of SGD$ 139/USD$ 89 (you can expect to get it off the shelves for less), the 7100S offers relatively good value. All that boils down to 70 VR Marks being awarded to the Inno3D7100GS.

Overall Rating : 70 VRMarks!

For the lucky geeks living in sunny Singapore, the Inno3D 7100GS is supported by 2 years warranty from their friendly distributor: MCP Computers. We'd also like to take this opportunity to thank Stanley Hoi from MCP Computers for supplying the review sample.
