Over at the ATi side of things, we found a new Powercolor X800 XL 512MB PCIe. Out fitted with double the memory for slightly faster textures, this card is made for people who need an ultimate solution that requires 512MB of video memory. Priced at S$789 in Fuwell, this is not meant for the faint hearted.

The box of this X800 XL 512. Pretty white design they have.

The card itself. From the top, it looks as if it was the regular X800XL from Powercolor...

The back of the card, that shows all the differences. Just look at the number of RAM chips!

Unlike the regular X800XL 256MB, the 512MB version requires an additional 6pin PCIe power connector.

The heatsink is secured by this very solid screws and bar, to provide that extra tightness for optimum contact.
