Slashdot Now a days, products comes small, to shave off those extra shipping costs. Intel now does the same, by shrinking the overly large Pentium 4 boxes, especially those LGA chips. Now with a smaller and probably cuter box, sometimes, small is just better. Found with the latest Intel Pentium 4 650 (3.4Ghz / 2MB) over at Cybermind, for $771 alone.
The small cute box of the newer Pentium 4 packaging.

This is how the smaller box compares to it's elder bigger brother.
Over at the AMD side, we found some new AMD Athlon 64 3500+ based on the new Venice cores. Being highly anticipated, this new cores are said to overclock better, perform better due to the tweaks on the on-die memory controller, and also, SSE3 support. Priced at $518 alone, this processor could be found in Cybermind.

Just a close up on the processor.
That's all for the day folks, catch you guys next week. ;)
