Slashdot CPU Core Voltage goes up to 1.7v via BIOS. More may be desired when one has the cooling to match.

Locate this portion of the motherboard, right beside the CPU socket. You can monitor VCore from the BIOS. Pencil the resistor circled to increase voltage. Original Resistance is about 820 ohms. Go down slowly, about 20 ohms at a time, to increase voltage.
Finally, for those who really want to tweak, there is the VFSB to fool around with.

Locate this portion of the motherboard, right below the first PCIE x16 slot. You can measure VFSB from the spot shown. Pencil the resistor circled to increase voltage. Original Resistance is about 1.17Kohms. Go down slowly, about 20 ohms at a time, to increase voltage.
